REGENT'S APRIL MESSAGE
My dear sisters in Christ,
“ HE IS RISEN!
My sisters in Christ, the promise has been fulfilled. Our sins have been forgiven.
Let us rejoice and be glad. Now we must continue our spiritual journey so that we
may join Him for all eternity in heaven. We should not seek perfection in all that we
do, because we are all sinners. We must confess our sins and repent. We must
strive to improve who we are and continue on our journey. We should not envy
others or try be like others. Be your authentic selves. God knows our hearts.
We live in times of corrupt governments, human trafficking, disregard for human
lives. Where children were murdered as they prayed. Where ICE agents rip people from their homes and their families never see them again. We must pray the rosary (hopefully in groups) that these human atrocities cease. That all people are treated with love and respect.
A Powerful Prayer for Peace and Strength "Lord, thank You that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Please fill me with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and renew my strength as I wait on You (Isaiah 40:31), guiding my heart in Your truth."
Bonita Carter, Regent
