REGENT’S NOVEMBER MESSAGE
Ladies, we are nearing Thanksgiving. A time when we spend time
with our family and loved ones. A time where we give thanks to God
for everything He has done for us. Especially for allowing us to be
together again. This is also the time for us to remember and pray for
those who are sick and alone. Those who are homeless. People
who lost everything when hurricanes Helene and Milton struck. We
must also pray for the people we lost during this year. We must also
pray for our sisters in Court 942 and their families. I give thanks that you all, who are a part of my life.
I have learned compassion, leadership, patience, love, and understanding from you. Thank you for your understanding and kindness towards me as I grow into my new position as regent.
May God Bless all of you. May He give you good health and keep you safe from all harm.

WELCOME NEW COURT MEMBERS
On October 13, 2024, we welcomed four new members to our court: Yesenia Ardon, Mariam Estrada, Lovie Leslie, and Marnee Melendez. Yesenia and Marnee are the mothers of two of our JCDA girls.

ACTIVITIES
2024 CDA SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2024

On November 9th, it was a blessed day, 34 women were screened. a big thank you to our coordinators, Patty and Linda and our volunteers, including our president of our JCDA.
DAY OF REFLECTION
The Day of Reflection was held on Saturday, November 9th St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Conducted by Father Mike, he discussed meditation practices and led participants on a day of contemplation on our personal relationship with God, especially during Advent. Father Mike has published over 37 books on various forms of contemplation. He offered each a copy of one or two of his books. Participants enjoyed the workshop and came away with new methods of spiritual contemplation. CDA members pictured, Regent Bonita, Dee, and Vanessa.
THANKSGIVING GIVE-AWAY
On Saturday, November 16, CDA and JCDA members participated in the annual City of Compton Thanksgiving food give-away. 700 families received a turkey and other holiday food items.
