LOCAL COURT PROJECTS

​

Education Scholarship Contest:

Our most successful project, we follow the National education form and we award two young ladies (one from Our Lady of Victory School and one from St. Albert the Grade School $1,000 first place scholarship to her catholic high school).  Every September or October, our court does a fundraiser bus trip to the casino, we have two buses and the proceeds from this trip goes toward our scholarship winners.  Our essay winners are judged by independent judges.  We aim to have three winners from each school but if the papers are not good, we will not award a student (looking at the recent winners we had).  The funds are sent to the girl's school directly in October.

Sick and Shut-Ins 

Our Chairman and members reach out monthly to members who are unable to attend meetings and check on them and update on court activities.  Also, if a ride is needed, our members will assist.

Monthly Mass and Rosary is said at our meetings

We say the Rosary and pray for our sisters, families, and nation.

May Crowning of Mary

Every year for Mother's Day at Mass, the members crown Mary and honor our mothers (here and gone) with roses.  

​

Memorial Mass for our Deceased Members

In November, we remember and honor our deceased CDA members.

​

Adopt-A-Family

At Christmastime, we reach out to 4 churches:  Our Lady of Victory, Sacred Heart, St. Albert the Great, St. Lawrence of Brindisi with gift baskets.
